and i already have question for u: i really need your help. on friday i should have presentation on english language (i study it) and i am desperate. i can´t find any propriate topic, that would be interesting and it would be easy tofind some materials for my work.

Ray Cannon. I was born in London UK and now live in Israel. I am a lawyer (retired) and practised most of my life as a partner in a London law firm but also worked for a couple of years in Hong Kong. My specialism was international business law. Studying and using the the English have always had a personal fascination and I have an extensive English library of works about the historical developmentof the English language and its usage.

This is my first time in a forum and after reading some of the previous messages I have found people from all over the world, something that is really nice. I'm from Spain.
Sharing experiences is a good way to find solutions to every day situations and at the same time practising the language helps a lot.
I certainly agree with the idea that teaching means learning and sometimes teaching can be a good excuse to go on learning the language.
