Hello there!

Do you consider the red-colored phrase an idiom?
If yes, in what idiom dictionary can I find it?
I looked it up in many dictionaries, but found nothing.

Woman began to have equal feet with man in many aspects of life

Does the following sentence sound more natural?

Women begin to dive in with both feet with man in many aspects of life

Thanks in advance
:-D

The idiom is "to get on an equal footing" so I think "Women began to get on an equal footing with men in many aspects of life" is what you want to say.

"To have equal feet" with someone doesn't mean anything.

I really appreciate your great help
