I want to sell the car.

This sentence is elementary. Could you give me some alternatives for I want to?

What do you mean by 'elementary'? The sentence 'I want to sell the car' expresses the thought clearly and concisely.

You could say things like I have to, but that changes the meaning.

You could say "I want to dispose of my car" but it is not better.

You could beat around the bush:

The idea of selling the car appeals to me.
I find the idea of selling the car appealing.

I want to sell the car.

I would like/ache/desire/long/yearn to sell the car.

I don't think selling a car is something that people long/yearn to do. It's usually because they don't need it or they want to change to a better car.
We can only be sure if we know OP's reason for selling the car.

Sure, so OP could say "I long/yearn to sell the car" for some reason.

Unless sadra confirms the strength of their desire to sell, I think we can forget yearn, long and ache.
