Diary - Yesterday, my dad had an cataract surgery

This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

Yesterday, my dad had a cataract surgery. Before the surgery, a nurse told me that my dad's blood test had showed that he had gotten a MRSA infection, a bacteria resistant to some commonly used antibiotics. Since it has no cure, she recommended us cleaning everything that he has touched every time. I don't know if I remember to do so every time, so I will buy my own cutlery and kettle.

I'm absolutely certain that you know that "an cataract" is wrong.
We don't "prepare" cutlery or kettles.

You've got time to edit post #1 and make at least those changes.
