hi,

to get somebody's goat= annoy somebody very much


e.g, It really gets my goat when people smoke in non-smoking areas.

pull a rabbit out of the hat ( informal )=suddenly produce something as a solution to a problem; to do something very clever and unexpected that solves a problem.

e.g.

We had almost given up hope when Jim pulled a rabbit out of the hat by coming up with a great new idea.

the cat's pyjamas= to think highly of yourself, to consider yourself to good for your surroundings


e.g

Lynda thinks she is the cat's pyjamas.

I've heard that one (though only once). Example:
When he hears about that he will have a cow. (Meaning: he will be upset about that.) (Possibly from the TV show "The Simpsons" where Bart is known to say, "Don't have a cow, man!")

It is to "get on" someone's "goat". :)

puppy dog eyes (UD)-very cute sight
wolf – whistle (to be wolf whistled, n, UD)-when a woman is attractive, it is a sound man can do when he sees her
to go off like a frog in a sock (UD)-get mad


I would like to ask some people to tell me which of these expressions can be regarded as idioms...i found them in a Cosmopolitan, but they are not typical idioms...but maybe they can become....i only want to know, which one do you use...if you use any....or you think you could understand them as idioms...

it has been raining like cats and dog sice morning
 
I liked this one,
"That cat won't jump!"
meaning "That won't do", "Thats' no good!"
