Days and dates true or false game

Without looking below, listen to the thing that your teacher says and show if you think that it is true (= right) or false (= wrong) by:

  • Running and touching the walls with true and false written on them
  • Slapping the true and false cards on the table
  • Holding up the true card or the false card that you have been given
  • Holding up your right hand to be mean true or your left hand to mean false

Your teacher will tell you if you can look at a calendar to help or not.

Write T for true or F for false next to each of the sentences below.

Specific days and dates

Today is in March.

Tomorrow is in April.

Tomorrow is Sunday.

Yesterday was Thursday.

Monday is the thirty first.

Holidays and celebrations

Christmas is in December.

The teacher’s birthday is in summer.

Valentine’s Day is in March.

Your birthday is in September.

August is before July.

January is before February.

March is before April.

May is before June.

November is before December.

September is before October.

 

Weather, seasons and seasonal activities

April is in spring.

August is in summer.

December is in winter.

February is in summer.

January is in winter.

July is in winter.

March is in autumn.

May is in spring.

September is in autumn.

 

August is cold.

March is hot.

November is cold.

Long months and short months

April has 30 days.

August has 31 days.

December has 31 days.

February has 30 days.

October has 30 days.

September has 31 days.
