"Pick someone you feel profoundly grateful ever decided to look your way." (From this video, 0:16-0:20)
Is this sentence grammatically correct? I think it should be something like this: "Pick someone that you feel profoundly grateful for and that has ever decided to look your way."
I can understand being glad somebody is my friend, but should I be profoundly grateful that somebody decided to look in my direction? I don't think so.
