Someone is transferring funds to me and I want to say I will keep checking my bank account and send him the goods once i have received the money.

1) I will keep a lookout of the money and once it is in, I will send out the goods right away.

Is the sentence 1) above correct?

Not sure if "lookout" have another meaning which means "keep looking to prevent the money from disappearing"

"For the money."

I don't much like "once it is in." Once I have received it. Once it's in the bank account. Those sound better to me.

"Of" is the wrong preposition. You keep a lookout for the funds, or simply look out for them.

Not sure if "keep a lookout" could have another meaning, such as "keep looking to prevent the money from disappearing".

No, it couldn't. Checking your bank account cannot stop money disappearing.
