Hi,

*self-made sentences*

- Will you tell us what kind of questions you will ask on the exam?
- Will you tell us what kinds of questions you will ask on the exam?

I cannot decide which one is OK to use - kind or kinds. Could you please tell me?

Thanks.

Both are fine and mean the same thing.

"What kind of questions" suggests that the questions will all be of the same kind/type.
"What kinds of questions" suggests that there will be a variety of kinds/types.
