What is your favourite animal? I know that one reply is `It is the dog.' I know this is correct, as I learnt this when I was teaching in Japan. I believe another possible reply is `It is dogs.' Is this correct? Also, which of these is correct - `My favourite animal is dogs' or `My favourite animal are dogs.' Looking forward to your reply.:-D
