Hello Everyone,

The following sentences is taken from reading comprehension of the 2022 Postgraduate Entrance Examination in China? I would like to know what does the bold mean in the following sentences?

Misdirection is sending the person to a site other than the one they wanted to visit. Hidden costs would be extra charges that are not disclosed in advance, but only after they have decided to buy.
