[Vocabulary] verb collocations with 'apologies'

The standard one is 'to convey someone someone's apologies'. What else can be used instead of 'convey'? 'Pass on'? 'I am tendering/extending my apologies to them'?
 
I wouldn't use "tendering". I'd say "pass on my apologies" but "extend" isn't terrible.

That's a good call because it's closer in meaning to "tender".

Constantinusphilo, is there some reason why you don't just want to use the verb "apologise"?
 
The reason is to avoid being repetitive.
 
When you say the same phrase several times a page, then you better look for synonymous expressions.
 
You can use the words "sorry" or "regret" if you don't want to repeat the word "apology".

Yes, I mean apologizing on someone else's behalf.
 
I would like to pass on X's apologies.
X has asked me to pass on his/her apologies.
