the way of pronunciation of "moral compass"

In the recording titled How London became the dirty money capital of the world| FT Film at 1:01 the subtitles suggest "the moral compass". However I hear the madam says "the moral compRess" instead. I hear that she speaks as there were "r" (a very slight vibration) sound between "p" and "e". Is it true? Thank you.

She definitely says "compass". I think what you're hearing is a sort of puff of air as she releases the explosive "p" and the air hits the microphone. There is an audible sound just as the says the "p", but it's not an extra letter.

You're mishearing it. There's no 'r' sound there.
