Is this correct and natural?

The city's water flow is weak so they use water pumps. If they don't use water pumps, little water comes out of the facet. When activated, the water pumps make a loud noise which cuts through the dusty days and nights. The water comes out strongly out of the facet when they turn on the pump.

We usually talk about water pressure.
I think the correct spelling is faucet, though it is called tap in BrE.

The correct spelling in AmE is indeed "faucet". "Facet" has a completely different meaning.

So apart from faucet, is the rest of it okay?

Sound doesn't cut through dust.
