Should I translate it as city or town?

Have you asked your family and friends what they call your community?
Perhaps you can contact a government official in your community and ask them if you live in a town or a city.
Based upon everything that has been said thus far, my opinion is that you live in a city.
I cannot find any Saudi Arabian “towns” listed online or in my personal atlas. So, I think the City Mystery has been solved.
