I wonder if you could give me some tips on the following sentences:
It's such bad weather that we have to stay at home all day.
It's so bad weather that we have to stay at home all day.

The first sentence is ok. yet the second one is a bit strange. Some english teachers around me support that in the second sentence, the word "the" should be inserted between "bad" and "weather". what's your opion?
My second question is: in "such... that....."structure, if such is followed by an uncountable noun, could "such" be replaced by "so"?

As a connector,
such (adj+noun) that
so (adj/adv) that

It was such a bad weather that we stayed at home all day.
The weather was so bad that we stayed at home all day.

As a contrast,
so many adj countable noun
so much adj uncountable noun
such adj noun(count/noncount)
I saw so many beautiful stars last night that it was difficult to count them.
I saw such beautiful stars last night that it was difficult to count them.

"It was such a bad weather that we stayed at home all day."
"Weather" is uncountable, "such a bad weather" is incorrect, the "a" should be deleted.

so (adj/adv) that

It was such[STRIKE] a[/STRIKE] bad weather that we stayed at home all day.

I know weather is uncountable, but I used "bad"(adjective) before it. Therefore, "bad weather" should be with "a" before it.

No it shouldn't, "bad" is just describing "weather", it doesn't make it countable.

Isn't it's so good weather correct like he's so good a boy?

"Safe Driving in a bad weather"
Safe Driving in a Bad Weather | Anka Auto Sport

This is article.
How do you explain it to me?
I really apology that I confuse you by my question.
Thank you.

The whole of the text in that link is in very poor English.
whitemoon, the first sentence of the link you provided should have set off several red flags for you: 'Nowadays the changes of whether made us need to be careful when we are driving.' The article is riddled with mistakes. ;-) How many other mistakes can you find?

Hi
corum,bhaisahab,amigos4
I appreciate your explanation.

But I am still a little confused by it. Isn't "so" in "It was so bad weather that we stayed at home all day" a connector? Besides this "so" is followed by an ajective "bad". This sentence just seems to be ok grammatically.

Native English speakers wouldn't say "It was so bad weather..." they would say "It was such bad weather..."

You cannot use "so bad weather".
such+adj+noun+that
so+adj+that
You can't change "such" with "so".

It was such bad weather that......
The weather was so bad that..........

In the first sentence the subject is "it" (introductory subject).
In the second sentence the subject is "the weather".

However, you can change "such+adj+noun+that" sentence pattern into "so+adj+that" sentence pattern.

It is such a beautiful girl that every man loves her.
She is so beautiful that every man loves her.

You cannot change "so" in the second sentence with "such" as well as "such" in the first sentence with "so".

Hi ,
bhaisahab
Thank you very much.

You cannot use "so bad weather".
such+adj+noun+that
so+adj+that
You can't change "such" with "so".
There's also another construction:

so+adj+noun

as in 'so bad a boy'. I mentioned it some posts ago. From what bhaisahab says I understand it's not applicable here.

'He was such a bad boy!' is correct. We would never say 'so bad a boy'! ;-)
