Ants live in colonies which have lots of residents living together. Within a colony, there are usually three different types of ants.
There is the queen, and what she does her entire life is lay eggs..

Question : Change the underlined part into a relative noun clause.
Answer. : who live

This question is from a middle school textbook's workbook. The answer is "who live".
Is it because of personification of ants or is it wrong? Doesn't it have to be "which live" as the residents are an animal?

Tell us the title and, if possible, the author of the workbook. If the author isn't credited, tell us the name of the publisher.

I found the link on the internet. Please refer to it.

Which would be better.

Firstly, the sentence does not need to be, and shouldn't be, changed.

Secondly, there are no such things as 'relative noun clauses'.

Thirdly, get a better exercise book.
