and its is possesive..
so I think the answer is it's
 
Even I got confused but some one corrected me it would be "it's"
 
The correct answer is "it's." Every sentence needs a verb and here it is to be : "it is."

"Its" is a possessive adjective.
The dog is licking its paws.
