[FONT=&#48148] After making several iron shots, the ball gets on the green. On the green, you use a putter to hit the ball. Hitting the ball into a hole is the final goal of golf. [/FONT]
[FONT=&#48148]1.By controlling the putter very carefully, you make the ball go into a hole. [/FONT]
[FONT=&#48148]2.Controlling the putter very carefully can make the ball go into a hole.

1. Is the underlined correct?
2. Which sounds more natural between 1 and 2?[/FONT]

After [STRIKE]making[/STRIKE] several [STRIKE]iron[/STRIKE] shots with an iron, the ball gets onto the green. On the green, you use a putter to hit the ball. Hitting the ball into [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] the hole is the [STRIKE]final[/STRIKE] goal of golf.

1. By controlling the putter very carefully, you [STRIKE]make[/STRIKE] hit the ball [STRIKE]go[/STRIKE] into [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] the hole.
2. Controlling the putter very carefully can make the ball go into [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] the hole.

[STRIKE]1.[/STRIKE] Is the underlined part correct?
[STRIKE]2.[/STRIKE] Which sounds more natural [STRIKE]between[/STRIKE] - 1 [STRIKE]and[/STRIKE] or 2?

Note my changes above.

The underlined part is OK with my correction. There are so many differences between 1 and 2 that it's hard to say which is more natural.

Perhaps:

Hitting the ball with precision nudges it into the hole.
