I don't know what you're talking about. Where did I write, 'was proved to be'?
 
Read your post again. If you were not objecting to "was proven to be" then there is no reason to object to that choice in the original question. Therefore, as I posted, two choices are correct in the original question.

I have read my post and you are making no sense. I did object to 'was proven to be'. That is the whole point.
 
And that led to my Ngrams. But it did not lead to your Ngrams. That was my point. You can't have it both ways.
