I saw this sentencein a book:He flew in a helicopter.

Is it correct?when can we use preposition (in)?
could sombody tell me where or in which site or dictionary I can find out about This? For example:I went home in a car.I confused about using preposition (in),because I havent ever seen using (in) for above sentences....

Prepositions are not always logical.
He arrived in a car, in a limo, in an airplane, in a helicopter, on a bus, on a motorcycle, on a horse, in or on a boat (depending on its size).

You just need to learn which preposition goes with which noun.

Please stop posting tha same question in a slightly different form, Nima.
