Can "end up" / "wind up" be used as linking verbs? Can we put adj right after "end up" / "wind up"?
For example,
1. I don't want to wind up broke and depressed.
2. I don't want to end up broke and depressed.
Or,
1. I don't want to wind up being broke and depressed.
2. I don't want to end up being broke and depressed.

Which sentences are correct?

Thank you

All the sentences are correct. The verbs are not really linking verbs. As you have discovered, the word "being" was implied.
