We're not fixated on it. We like to think that all our users are being honest in their member profile. It can help us enormously to know what someone's native language is.

If I remember correctly, I just signed up and did not change anything. Whatever settings assigned during registration that's what it gave me. To be honest, I'm respecting the EU privacy data laws - EU directive.
