[General] All nouns masculine but the queen?

At the Empire Club, we always toast her in this way: "To the Queen of Canada."

That's interesting. In Britain, the loyal toast is simply "the Queen".

I guess you Brits know what country you're from, whereas we aren't quite certain here. It's a Western hemisphere thing.

Yeah- it happened a couple of years ago, but they kept it out of the papers.

Sort of, but then we do have the UK, Great Britain, British, English, Scottish, etc.
