A word for someone who has bad driving

Please note that we wouldn't say somebody has bad driving, but that he or she is a bad driver.

It's common to say that a bad driver "drives like a maniac". Though the word "maniac" is certainly not limited to drivers, people will understand if you use "maniac" in the context of driving.

That reminds me of something a comedian- I think it was George Carlin- said, "Did you ever notice that everyone who drives slower than you is an idiot, but everyone who drives faster than you is a maniac!"
