Hi everyone.

Is there a verb suggesting "sweating" and being "suffocated" at the same time?

Stifle ?

However that means 'being unable to breathe because of heat or lack of air' and 'suffocating' - not 'being suffocated'.

so... does "Stifle" contain the sense of "sweating", too?

If 'it's stifling' somewhere, or 'I'm stifling' somewhere', then I am almost certainly sweating.

Thanks a lot! :)
