I'm trying to write a dialog. Two truckers are talking:

Trucker #1: I've been on the road for about two weeks now.
Trucker #2: Okay. That's a long haul. So where you headed now?

Is there any Americans who could please tell me if I can use "a long haul" about several trips in a row as I have in the dialog, or can it only be used about one trip? Thanks.

Especially when talking about literal hauling "a haul" would refer to one trip. Picking up at point A and dropping off at point B.
