[General] What does "thy" stand for?

I was reading Alfred Tennyson's poem To Sleep. There were two sentences "Whate'er thy joys ..." and "Whate'er thy griefs ..." What does the word "thy" mean?

I was reading Alfred Tennyson's poem To Sleep. There were two sentences "Whate'er thy joys ..." and "Whate'er thy griefs ..."

Do you mean to refer to these two sentences?

"Whate’er thy joys, they vanish with the day;
Whate’er thy griefs, in sleep they fade away."
