This & That Slapping Game
A LESSON PLAN FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS
Fun active practice of this/ that and simple word recognition through students racing to touch the right one of two cards with the same word on.
Lesson Plan Content:
This that slapping game
Put all of the “This cards” at the nearest end of the floor, the classroom, the whiteboard or the table. Put all the “That cards” at the opposite end of the floor, etc. Race to slap the card that the teacher or another student says, making sure you touch the right one out of “this” or “that” each time.
