Zotero
For people using Firefox, there's a superb add-on Zotero to help you organise your research, create bibliographies, reference lists, etc, complete with a number of styles.
Even if you don't need to worry about MLA or other formatting, it's still a
superb way of saving and organising webpages for future reference, but for people doing academic research, it really does look like a superb tool for study.
