Could you listen to this conversation and comment about the pronunciation of the woman about the noun "shoes"?
It seems to me that she is pronouncing "choes" not "shoes".

I don't have to hedge when I am speaking for myself. I pronounce words as I pronounce them. I don't think I pronounce words that way. I also hear them pronounced that way. No hedging there either.
