Students, your physics class will be handled by myself.

A lecture sends this message to his students. Is "myself" correct here?

I feel "me" is appropriate. I myself will handle your physics class. In this sentence there is an emphasis that it is me who is going to handle the class. But, the original sentence just passes the message that the physics class will be handled by me. Is my understanding correct?

You will hear native speakers use it, but many hate this and think it is wrong. Some think it sounds more formal, but me is the better choice, though why not use the active voice- I will be handling....

Also, why are you using "handle"?

For example:
Students, I will be teaching you physics today.

Students, I will be your teacher for physics today.
