Hello, I'm writing a song, and I was wondering if the sentence "you have the wonder of a beautiful sunset" makes any sense. it is intended as a compliment to a female

The sentence is fine but I don't see how it serves as a compliment.

This means a native would read it as "you're as wonderful as a beautiful sunset"?

Please don't post the same question twice! I've answered you elsewhere.

No, native speakers often disagree about the meaning of songs. If you want to be reliably understood, you need to use natural, unambiguous language. But this is not usually a priority of songwriters.

I'm sorry, I'm new to the forum.

So what if this expression wasn't in a song, but was used in general speech language? would a native understand it as I meant? My aim is to use a language as clear and understandable (and unambiguous) as possible

It's not a natural sentence. It's not something that a native speaker would say.
The songs of most languages are full of unnatural language.
