"you have a gift" does it mean "you are gifted"???

i watched a movie in which a character spoke: "you have a gift"
i think he wanted to say: "you are talented"
so does this mean "you are gifted"???
or i didn't listen correctly:oops:
ah, this movie is Ratatouille:)

Remember: Sentences begin with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. ;-)

I believe it's what you said.
However, what makes more sense in your opinion?
1. Did the person receive a gift?
2. Was the person talented?

As said, I believe it's talented.
