Hello everyone,;-)

I have great ideas and topics to write about and express my self through-but however, what's holding me back is the fact that English isn't my mother tongue language. So,the question is:to be able to write novels do I have to be a native speaker in order for my readers to be satisfied with my level of English grammar?

If you have a great story to tell, your editor will take care of that.

Look at how much success Stephanie Meyer has had -- her writing sucks, but people want to read her stories. And she's a native speaker.

not a teacher

Joseph Conrad didn't learn English until he was an adult.

Thank you Barb_D and Vidorr for your uplifting words, they filled me with high spirits and optimism .
