Sentence: Did I write/wrote that in Mandarin earlier?

Question: Please kindly answer with explanation what will be correct usage in the sentence above here: write or wrote?

Thanks

Regards

It's 'Did I write ...?'

When we use an auxiliary verb with another verb, it's the auxiliary that shows tense and, where relevant, person:

I write
he writes
I wrote.

I do not write, Do I write?
He does not write, Does he write?
I did not write, Did I write?

Many thanks for answering/clarifying. Searching the same in Google was creating confusion. Actually I used that above sentence as sarcasm to someone in a chat group. I wrote a simple thing in simple English in the group and one chap came who did not get what I said and repeated the same nonchalantly. So I wrote sarcastically, "did I write that in Mandarin?". :)

You should use Did, but the grammar is fine.
