Working with ELLs when deploying new language and content

Hello, as a new educator to K-12, I am working to better understand the various learning strategies to help ELLs adapt to new language. In a course that I currently taking, learning a new language (Russian) has been challenging; especially with the pronunciation. I understand the challenge first-hand and looking for some recommendations to build on new language to better guide my students.
