Hello all!
Please help me find alternatives for the phrazal verb in red:

Calm down! You shouldn't work yourself up into such a state.

I'd like to know what other phrazal verbs can be used in such situation.

Many thanks in advance!

To get angry, to make oneself angry.

Lash oneself into a state/a rage/fever
Drive (e.g. Drive oneself to distraction; Drive over the edge)
These are not strictly speaking phrazal verbs, but they're alternatives alright.
