Please can you tell me, if the word wondered was broken down as a word break at the end of a line, as part of a sentence, would the following be a good or bad one? Would it be misleading to the reader?
wonde-
red
Or would it be a better word break as follows -
won-
dered

Both would be bad ones. The good one is wonder-ed. If that does not work typographically you will just have to decide which line "wondered" belongs on, or change something, e.g. the font or the column width.

I would be happy with either won-dered or wonder-ed. The first breaks the word into its two syllables.
