Hi
Can you please tell me the meaning of " The wondrous good in question " in this sentence :

The wondrous good in question is friendship

Thanks

I assume that the phrase "wondrous good" appears in a preceding sentence. The sentence you have quoted is an explanation of that phrase. So if you were confused as to what the "wondrous good" referred to, it referred to friendship. We use "in question" to mean "under discussion" or "previously mentioned". It's probably off topic, but do you use "wondrous" frequently?
