wide open or thrown open?

Which one is more idiomatic here?

Don't worry. When I arrive to the palace, its doors will be wide open before me.

Don't worry. When I arrive to the palace, its doors will be thrown open before me.

I mean that the guards will open immediately and completely the gates when they realize than the one coming is the King.

The first suggests that the doors are normally kept open while the second means that the doors are opened specifically for the speaker.

Neither sounds idiomatic, if anything the use of "thrown open" and "before me" makes the sentences sound a little archaic. A natural way of saying this would be something like "the guards will open the palace doors as soon as they see me".

For the first sentence, you could say 'opened wide'. That would keep a similar meaning of them having been opened just for the speaker, as in the second sentence.
