I’d like to know if A’s response to B’s suggestion is appropriate.
 
Here's the problem with using a slash "/". Does it mean "and" or "or", or even perhaps both? It is better to avoid using / and just say what you mean.
 
The first answer could sound more enthusiastic than the second, but intonation would matter.
 
I use it to mean "or" there. Thanks for you advice and I'll take it.
