Which preposition in connection with religious holidays?

I would like to know which is the preferred preposition in connection with the religious holiday Eid. I normally say at Christmas, at Easter (I hope this is correct), and to me it also sounds correct to say "at Eid". An alternative is "during Christmas/Easter/Eid", of course. The reason I'm asking is that I saw "on Eid" written in a text, and it sounded incorrect to me.

Festive periods normally go with "at" at Christmas, Easter... With days "on" On Christmas Day, on Good Friday...
Eid is supposed to last three days right? maybe they were referring to a single day there.
