The tallest ! :-(
We're dealing with the SUPERLATIVE, remember?
The one that usually wouldn't be used is, "d", though I can think of cases where it could be used.
I expect that they are looking for tallest, though they would have a weak argument given the way the text is written. In the real world, any of the options would be acceptable.
That's my opinion.I have two brothers. The ..........one is Ali.
a)tall :tick: if one is 'tall' and one is 'short' (in other words, if there is 'a lot' of difference in their heights)
b)taller :tick: if there is not 'a lot' of difference in their heights
c)tallest :cross: not for only two of something
d)high :cross: use 'tall(er)'
That's exactly what I was talking about. Thanks. That's my opinion.
