Where can I find a dictionary of phrases like "make known", "make the jump"...?

I'm learning English and I'm having a problem, I can not understand the meaning of the word "make known" and similar expressions of "make", "go". Etc. You can search for phrases in dictionaries like OneLook Dictionary Search

You need to add * after the search- to get only phrases then type make * (including the space)
http://www.onelook.com/?w=make+*&ls=a

You can then refine the search to include common phrases only, etc.

I just spent 30 minutes playing around with it.

The wildcard feature is a great way to find phrasal verbs.
