When You Piss Of The Scientists

What do you find when you look up "piss off"? Note that the phrase has a different meaning when it's used as an imperative in British English.

Re: When You Piss Off The Scientists

The expression piss off means to make somebody angry. Example:

Bob: What did you do to piss him off?
Rob: I don't know. Maybe he's just in a bad mood.

(I tried that link, but they have slowed things down because I have allegedly reached the limit of my data.)

The question is the meaning of piss of rather than piss off, and I know the latter very well that it means annoy. (As an imperative it means go away).

Does the author deliberately show euphemism by writing piss off as piss of?

If they wanted to use a euphemism, they would change piss rather than off to something like pee off.

Or "anger" or "enrage."
