Hello,

Sometimes when you look at a lamp, or a light or a high-mast LED, or even the sun, you see several rays of light. For example, when you look at a lamp through a glass.

What is the verb to describe light shining in that way?

And what would the person seeing a lamp/the sun shining in that way say?

Refracted.

"Oh, look! The light is refracted!"

Isn't there a verb for it when the sun shines like that?

It's not about sunshine, but what happens to light when it's refracted.
