I'm trying to describe a situation where a person holds a mug of coffee.

Is this correct and natural?

She wrapped her hands around the coffee mug, its warmth seeping into her fingers.

Yes. You could also use "hugged" or "cradled" instead of "wrapped her hands around".

Thanks. Is the original sentence okay? I mean other parts of it.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. If I feel corrections need to be made, I make them. I didn't change any other parts of your sentence so clearly I thought they were OK.
