In the movie Chaos Theory, someone says

"I USED TO POUND JAEGERMEISTER"

As I'm italian, I really don't understand the meaning.

Could someone, be so kind, and help me?

Thank you in advance

Probably that who was speaking used to drink a lot of Jaegermeister, which is an alcoholic drink.

Oh, yes, i think so... :)

When i saw the scene in the movie, i really didn't understand, why she was saying that .... but then, i understood.

:-?

Thank you very much

You're welcome! ;-)

Pounding drinks means to drink a lot of alcohol in a short time. Pounding beers etc.

To "pound" a drink of alcohol, also to "slam": to drink rapidly.
(these phrases, both "to pound" and "to slam", also have sexual connotations)
Also used in reference to drink: to "throw back" or to "quaff"
