What is confusing me is...

In the previous thread, I wanted to use the word puzzle, but having looked it up in the dictionary, I changed my mind and used confused instead. I did this because the dictionary definition included some feeling of worry which I surely don't have in this situation. :) But is it possible to use puzzle interchangeably with confuse in such a context?
e.g.
What's puzzling me is...
What is confusing me is...
What I'm puzzled by is...
What I'm confused by is...

Are they natural?

In those fragments, they appear to be interchangeable. You'll hear "confused/confusing" more frequently in BrE though.
